Ricciardo fastest for Red Bull in wet final practice

Daniel Ricciardo topped a wet final free practice session ahead of Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix. In a session which saw very limited running, due in part to the wet weather, coupled with a necessity for the teams to preserve tyres for later in the weekend, Ricciardo went fastest with a lap of 1:53.958 to end the morning on top of the time sheets, despite completing just five laps. Felipe Massa was second fastest for Williams, some five tenths adrift of Ricciardo, Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado ended the morning in third and sixth, the Lotus pair having ventured out early on in the session.
