Ricciardo tops wet FP3 as rivals sit out

Full FP3 times HERE Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest time of a wet final practice session for the Chinese Grand Prix, while Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso failed to set a time. Early rain left the track wet and cool conditions meant little track improvement was seen during the hour-long FP3. Ricciardo set the pace with a best time of 1:53.958, leaving him half a second of Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean. While little can be read in to the times, it was an encouraging sign for Williams to be near the front in the wet after the team struggled during qualifying in similar conditions in both Australia and Malaysia.
