Ever since he has been popping up in social media photos with some very important Formula 1 heavy-hitter during the summer break, it is time to ask the question: Flavio Briatore in F1. Good? Or Bad? Flavio's history is well known, the flamboyant Italian marketing man heading Bennetton's campaigns in its heyday, convincing the clothing family to buy a F1 team to further promote their brand. Since then the likes of Michael Schumacher passed through his hands, and thereafter it would be fair to say that Briatore, by then good pals with F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, has a finger in just about every pie in the Piranha Pool.
