Norris shares secret behind McLaren turnaround and Imola podium
Article To news overview © XPB Images Lando Norris says the secret behind McLaren's early-season turnaround is a mixture of hard work and a little bit of luck, as he celebrated a surprise podium in Imola. Norris qualified on the second row for Saturday's Sprint at the Emilia Romagna GP and lost places to Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz. But on a bad race day for Ferrari in rainy Italy, Norris was able to snatch an unlikely podium for a team who only a matter of weeks ago found themselves fighting at the back of the grid.
