Honda and Red Bull announce longer partnership from 2022 onwards

Honda will be leaving Formula 1 at the end of 2021, but on the weekend that Red Bull Racing came up with a special farewell livery for Honda, the two parties have now announced that they will continue to work together from 2022. Honda already decided in 2020 that the engine project in Formula 1 would come to an end. The Japanese engine manufacturer wants to focus more on other projects and does not want to put the money in Formula 1 anymore. An agreement has been made with Red Bull, as they will take over the engines and develop them themselves.
