FIA on potential Pérez penalty: 'He lost sufficient ground there'

Max Verstappen set an excellent result during the French Grand Prix by taking victory. His teammate Sergio Pérez also did well with a third place, although that could have been different. The Mexican was driving behind the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas at the end of the race. Pérez then had to work hard to overtake his rival and eventually did so, but he ended up off-track during his overtake.
