In Formula 1 we have seen several teams come and go over the years, one small, the other big. A legendary name nowadays is Benetton Formula, better known as simply Benetton. A team that was active in Formula 1 from 1986 to 2001 and has achieved successes with several top three rankings and one manufacturer's championship. By now this team has a long and broad history, time to look back on it. Private team In Formula 1 both private and factory teams are present and Benetton Formula fell under that first category.
