Circuit of the Americas lay off employees amidst COVID-19 fears

While the United States Grand Prix isn't on the F1 calendar for another few months, the circuit has announced it will shut down amidst the coronavirus pandemic, laying off a significant number of employees in the process. The purpose-built track will have to close its doors indefinitely, with Travis County, where the circuit is located, banning all gatherings involving more than 250 people until the end of April.  MotoGP had a Grand Prix at COTA on April 5th, which had already been moved to November.
