Haas ‘arriving prepared' for Melbourne after extra pitstop practice
Haas are heading to Melbourne confident of not repeating the pit errors that cost them valuable points finishes in last year's Australian Grand Prix. Haas were one of the star teams of the early part of last year's Australian race, qualifying in P5 & P6 with Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean respectively. As the race unfolded, the pair were vying for even stronger positions when they made their first pitstops. Magnussen pitted on Lap 22 but retired on his outlap. This was due to a loose wheel that prevented him from coming safely back to the pits. He was told over the radio to stop the car. Moments later, Romain Grosjean made his stop.
