Sebastian Vettel under investigation for 'destroying' FIA scales

Sebastian Vettel has been summoned to see the stewards following the conclusion of qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix after 'destroying' the FIA's weighbridge. The Ferrari driver had been called at random to the weighbridge scales just as rain began to fall at the Interlagos circuit at the start of the second qualifying session. Keen to get the process done as quickly as possible, Vettel refused to turn his engine off which compromised the procedure and he then broke the scales as he drove away, according to a statement from the FIA's technical delegate Jo Bauer.
