Grosjean was "never worried" about losing his Haas seat
There was a lot of chat over the summer about Romain Grosjean being let go and replaced by Haas F1 at the end of the 2018 season after a torrid start to his campaign this year. Grosjean failed to score in the first eight races of the F1 season, whilst team mate Kevin Magnussen racked up four top 10 finishes, fuelling rumours regarding the Frenchman’s future. Adding to the poor form, unnecessary crashes at the Azerbaijan and Spanish Grands Prix made some people think he was returning to his early 2012 form, which saw plenty of first lap accidents and even a race ban after the pile-up at La Source in the Belgian Grand Prix.
