Inside Line: Let the real games begin!
Formula 1 preseason testing for me, as an ardent fan of the sport since the early seventies, always signalled the ‘start' of the season and I write this on the eve of what I believe will be an interesting championship with an intriguing curtain-raiser starting on Monday in Barcelona. Traditionally we have been told that testing does not mean much in terms of what will happen in the season, but I beg to differ because you tend to get a feel of what-is-what by the final days of testing.
