Hamilton accepts Red Bull had upper hand
– Lewis Hamilton reflected on a "tough" Malaysian Grand Prix for Mercedes after conceding that Red Bull held the upper hand at Sepang, in the wake of Max Verstappen's victory.Hamilton converted pole into the lead off the line but was overhauled by Verstappen on the fourth lap, and was unable to strike back against the Dutch youngster.Hamilton ultimately came home as runner-up, 12 seconds behind Verstappen, and conceded that the Red Bull driver had superior pace."A big congratulations to Max – Happy Birthday, he did a fantastic job today," said Hamilton, referencing Verstappen turning 20 on Saturday.The race was a tough one.
