Kimi Raikkonen leads Ferrari front-row in Monaco, Lewis Hamilton only P14

Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen will start the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix from the front of the grid after scoring his first pole position since the 2008 French GP. The Finnish racer was quick throughout the opening two qualifying segments and led the way after the first Q3 runs, before improving with a 1:12.178. Sebastian Vettel was just 0.043 seconds further back to secure Ferrari’s second front row lockout of the season, with his championship rival Lewis Hamilton down in 14th. Hamilton was eliminated in Q2 after mistakes and traffic on his earlier laps, before his final attempt was cut short by yellow flags for an incident.
