Vandoorne: 14th reflects McLaren's position
– McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne says his 14th-place finish at the Russian Grand Prix is a "fair reflection" of the team's current standing in Formula 1's pecking order.McLaren has struggled this season amid a lack of reliability and performance, with team-mate Fernando Alonso halting on the formation lap due to an ERS software failure.Vandoorne lined up from the back of the grid as a consequence of a 15-place grid penalty, due to taking on a fifth MGU-H and Turbocharger.Vandoorne was given a five-second time sanction for leaving the track at Turn 2 on the opening lap and failing to re-join as instructed, before going on to record 14th place.
