Drivetrain issues hinder Toro Rosso drivers on day three

Both Scuderia Toro Rosso drivers endured difficult days at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Wednesday as both suffered drivetrain issues on their STR12’s. Daniil Kvyat was in the car for the morning session before handing over to his team-mate Carlos Sainz Jr, but the Russian completed just 31 laps and the Spaniard 32 laps as the problems with their drivetrains materialised. “A bit of a frustrating morning for me today because we lost some valuable track time due to a drivetrain issue,” said Kvyat, who finished bottom of the time sheets on Wednesday. “It’s a shame for myself and the team, because we should be using the time to add laps to our tally… But, on a positive...
