Pirelli chooses compounds for Bahrain, China

Pirelli Media Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has announced the three compounds which will be available for drivers at races in Bahrain and China towards the start of the 2016 season. Under revised regulations, drivers can select their own compound choices from the trio which Pirelli will bring to each event next season. As with the Australian Grand Prix, the Super Soft, Soft and Medium tyres will be brought to the races in Sakhir and Shanghai. Drivers must use one set of the Soft and Medium tyres at some point during the respective races, with one set of Super Soft tyres available for the final part of qualifying.
