Maldonado: 2016 F1 ‘difficult' season for Renault-Lotus Regular race driver Maldonado admits that outfit is in for a difficult season next year even if Renault completes its takeover of the team. Financial struggle too much effected Lotus F1’s this season development, and its resulted lost vital position to Force India in the fight for fifth place in the F1 World Constructors' championship which offer a bigger share of the all-important prize money at the end of the season.
