FP2 delayed 'indefinitely' amid poor weather
– Friday afternoon's second practice session for the United States Grand Prix has been delayed "indefinitely", due to the poor weather conditions which have struck the Circuit of the Americas and surrounding areas.Although rain eased for first practice, a massive thunderstorm hit COTA before FP2, forcing Race Control to delay the session, with "marshals unable to work due to the proximity of lightning."A message was also displayed on the television screens around the circuit, warning spectators to "seek shelter indoors or vehicles - do not seek shelter under grandstands."
