Nico Rosberg eyes opportunity to cut Hamilton's points lead

Russian Grand Prix – Mercedes AMG's Nico Rosberg says that he is focussing on his pole position opportunity as a way to reduce Lewis Hamilton's 49 point lead in the Driver's Championship in Sunday's race. Rosberg took pole position for the Russian race by 0.3 seconds, a job made easier by Hamilton making an error on his final flying lap in qualifying. The German driver also took pole in Japan a fortnight ago, but lost out at Turn 1 to Hamilton. On this occasion, Rosberg says he's happy with his W06's setup despite a difficult preparation: 'It’s been a difficult weekend actually, because of the little running that we got; we didn’t get much practice.
