Hulkenberg quickest on curtailed Friday in Sochi

Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg was quickest on Friday in practice for this weekend’s 2015 F1 Russian Grand Prix, although both sessions at the Sochi Autodrom were heavily compromised. In the morning a diesel spillage at Turns 8-9 delayed the session by 30 minutes, cutting it to just 60 minutes in length, although even when it did re-start – after the clean-up – conditions remained tricky, with a number of drivers suffering spins and initially having to use intermediate tyres due to all the water put down.
