Stevens holds out hope despite Wehrlein-Manor rumours
Will Stevens says he remains optimistic he will be factored into Manor Racing's bold new plans for the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship season despite acknowledging the increasing competition for his seat. After a one-off outing with Caterham in 2014, Stevens made his full-time F1 debut in 2015 with the revived Manor team and has received praise for his efforts relative to competing with a year-old chassis and Ferrari engine. However, Manor Racing will enter an interesting new era for 2016 with the confirmation that it has secured a supply of latest specification Mercedes engines next season, while Williams will supply the transmission for its all-new chassis.
