Helmut Marko announces Red Bull quit threat

Japanese Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing's Dr. Helmut Marko says that if the team can't have an engine that allows them to compete at the very front, they 'would prefer to stop' racing. Red Bull Racing and Renault are understood to be ending their partnership at the end of this season, despite no formal announcement just yet. However, in an exclusive interview with Formula1.com, Marko pulled no punches about why the break-up is occurring: 'Renault couldn’t provide us with an engine that enabled us to run at the front.
