Roberto Merhi out; Alexander Rossi in at Manor Marussia
Singapore Grand Prix – The Manor Marussia Formula 1 team have announced that Alexander Rossi is to make his F1 debut at Marina Bay Street Circuit this weekend. He replaces Roberto Merhi. The 23 year old American was scheduled to make his F1 debut with Marussia at last year's Italian Grand Prix, but a last minute financial deal with then driver Max Chilton prevented him from doing so. Currently competing in the GP2 series, Rossi lies P2 with three rounds remaining. To allow him to compete to the end in the GP2 Championship, Rossi will take part in the Singapore, Japanese, US, Mexican & Brazilian races. Roberto Merhi will return for Sochi and Abu Dhabi.
