Hamilton aware of “tightening-up” risk in title run-in
Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has admitted that the “increasingly intense” battle to retain his title means there is scope for more mistakes in upcoming races. Hamilton, who holds a 28-point lead over Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg after his sixth win of the season in Belgium, suffered a scruffy race in the previous Grand Prix at the Hungaroring. Writing in his column for the BBC Sport website, Hamilton said: “The season has gone well so far but there are a lot of challenges coming up. “As the year comes to a climax, it becomes increasingly intense.
