Daniil Kvyat: ‘I didn't find a good rhythm'
Hungarian Grand Prix: Daniil Kvyat went fourth fastest in FP3, although when it came to crunch time in Q3, seventh fastest was the best he could produce.
The Russian looked to be on good form in the build up to qualifying, outpacing teammate Ricciardo in FP2 and FP3. Continuing into Qualifying, in Q1 Kvyat still had the edge over his teammate. In Q2 Ricciardo was able to improve significantly, whereas Kvyat lost 0.010s by comparison. Kvyat was able to improve his overall lap time, but wasn't enough to make any impression on the 2014 Hungarian GP winner Ricciardo, or either Ferrari drivers, whom Red Bull looked to be in front of before qualifying. “It was tough today, it wasn’t my best...
