Soft & Medium selected by Pirelli for Hungary

Hungarian Grand Prix – Pirelli are bringing the Soft & Medium compounds to the Hungaroring; a selection designed to cope with the unique demands of the tortuous circuit. The Hungaroring is a relatively low speed circuit, dominated by slow and medium speed corners. Aside from the pit straight, there is no respite for the tyres which are kept consistently at the upper end of its working range, particularly if the weather is hot and sunny. In terms of downforce, the teams run very high setups to generate the most grip.
