Lotus play down winding-up order

Lotus remain confident about its Formula 1 future despite facing a winding-up petition in the High Court. The Enstone squad have made no secret of their financial problems the past couple of seasons and it all appears to be coming to a head as their creditors brought the order against the team. A hearing was scheduled at the Companies Court in London for Monday, however a spokesperson for the Court confirmed it has been adjourned for two weeks until July 20. Lotus, are currently sixth in the Constructors' Championship, and CEO Matthew Carter insists everything is under control.
