B-Spec Force India passes crash tests; expected Silverstone debut

Force India's B-Spec VJM08 has passed its FIA crash tests and is expected to make its racing debut at the British Grand Prix next month. The car that Force India are racing currently is an updated version of their 2014 car and branded the VJM08, but a brand new package has been designed. The team struggled financially over winter due to a lack of cash flow, putting them on the back foot for this season. With problems rectified, they are now in the process of catching back up. The updated car initially failed its crash test last month, but following revisions has been given the all clear.
