Hulkenberg backs Perez over Canada

Nico Hulkenberg has backed team-mate Sergio Perez in the row with Felipe Massa over who caused the accident at the end of the Canadian Grand Prix. Perez was given a five-place grid penalty for this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix as a result of the incident at Turn 1 in Canada, when Massa and Perez collided at high speed at the start of the final lap. Massa said after the race in Montreal that the punishment was not big enough, while Perez maintained that Massa was at fault, and when asked by Crash.net if he had an opinion on who caused the collision Hulkenberg sided with his team-mate over the incident. “At the end of the race the heat is on, the tyres are degrading – we had older tyres...
