Ricciardo wins in Canada!

Who said that the 2014 season was too predictable? In one of the most engrossing, dramatic and topsy-turvy races for years, Daniel Ricciardo was the unexpected winner of the Canadian GP - with Lewis Hamilton the big loser as Nico Rosberg extended his championship lead over his Mercedes team-mate.While Hamilton was forced to retire from the race due to brake failure moments after he had overtaken his Mercedes team-mate, Rosberg rode his luck - escaping a penalty for cutting a chicane as he held on to the lead of the Hamilton - to move almost thirty points clear at the top of the summit.
