Mattiacci denies Newey approach
Marco Mattiacci has denied inviting Adrian Newey to join Ferrari - but that doesn't mean the team didn't make an approach.
Earlier this month rumours emerged claiming that Ferrari were once again chasing the Red Bull technical guru in a bid to turn their fortunes around.
The Brit, though, released a brief statement on Thursday, saying he remains "committed to Red Bull for the foreseeable future."
Facing the media in Thursday's press conference for the Monaco GP, new Ferrari team boss Mattiacci was asked about the state of F1, the slower lap times and Ferrari's approach for Newey.
