Hamilton quickest as Vettel hits trouble

Full FP1 times HERE Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of the opening practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix as Sebastian Vettel stopped on track. With Jenson Button holding top spot in the closing minutes, Hamilton went 0.782s clear of the field with a 1:27.109 but complained over the radio later in the run that “the rear tyres are really taking a beating”. Button held on to second place for McLaren by just 0.082s ahead of Daniel Ricciardo's Red Bull as all of the teams tested upgrades.
