Perez targets another strong performance

Sergio Perez hopes to have another strong weekend in China this week after finishing in third place in Bahrain earlier this month. The Mexican earned Force India their second-ever podium - after Giancarlo Fisichella in 2009 at Spa - and his first since 2012 after coming out on top in a battle with Daniel Ricciardo at Sakhir two weeks ago. With that result in mind, Perez hopes that he remains a podium threat in Shanghai later this week. "To get the podium in Bahrain was great," he is quoted in a Force India press release.
