Mercedes can be caught, says Boullier

– Eric Boullier is confident that McLaren has what it takes to catch current F1 pace-setters Mercedes. Although Mercedes has a sizeable advantage over the rest of the field at present, Boullier – who joined McLaren in a new role of Race Director ahead of the season – has put his faith in an "aggressive" development plan. "To be honest, I think it is," explained Boullier, when asked during a McLaren-Mercedes phone conference if it is realistic to believe that McLaren can catch Mercedes. "It's true that the gap is huge now, but a one-second gap is catchable. I know a lot of areas we can work on and improve, so I think they can definitely be caught."...
