Ecclestone suggests a super GP2 might be the way forward 8 April, 2014 Reports of a possible GP1 concept to go head to head with Formula 1 are mounting.
It has been reported that all the bleating about Formula 1′s controversial 2014 rules is because Bernie Ecclestone and Dietrich Mateschitz are trying to devalue the sport so that they can buy it cheap.
Formula 1 supremo Ecclestone warned again in Bahrain that Mateschitz – the billionaire owner of reigning world champions Red Bull – is so unhappy with the new face of the sport that he could quit.
'If he wanted to stop, he'd stop,' the 83-year-old told the British broadcaster Sky.
