Frijns impressed with Caterham progress
Robin Frijns says his inaugural Friday practice when as planned as he completed the full program that Caterham had asked of him.
The 22-year-old was in action for Caterham in Friday's first practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix and complete 35 laps.
His best time for the session, a 1:42.417, was three-tenths quicker than regular driver Marcus Ericsson with Frijns revealing that the car had progressed since he last ran it in the pre-season.
"It was good to get my first FP1 done, and especially good for the team that we had our first problem free first practice session of the season so far," Frijns said.
