Frijns to drive for Caterham in Bahrain first practice

The Caterham F1 Team has confirmed that test and reserve driver Robin Frijns will replace Kamui Kobayashi for the opening practice session of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend. The 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 champion joined the team at the start of this season after one year in a similar role at Sauber. He already has experience in the Leafield-based outfit's 2014 car after completing two days of running during winter testing. He will also drive the CT05 on one of the two in-season test days at the Bahrain International Circuit.
