Frijns to get Bahrain chance

Dutchman Robin Frijns will take part in the first practice session in Bahrain this week with Caterham. The 22-year-old former Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion joined Caterham as one of their reserve drivers at the start of the season and had opportunities to drive the Renault-powered CT05 during preseason. Frijns will take part in the opening practice session this week in place of one of the racing drivers and will be behind the wheel during the two-day test that follows the Bahrain GP. A former Sauber reserve driver, Frijns dismissed claims that he is looking for a move elsewhere, adding that he is committed to performing well for Caterham in 2014.
