Lotus, Marussia make delayed entry fee payment

Lotus and Marussia have guaranteed their spots on the 2014 grid after making the necessary payments to the governing body. The two outfits were listed as "subject to confirmation" on the official entry list published earlier this month, but both denied it meant they were in trouble despite rumours of financial instability. However, both have now paid the fee, albeit later than required, with Marussia's John Booth confirming to Autosport that it was down to cashflow. "Yes, it is confirmed," he said.
