The 2026 F1 race calendar has officially been unveiled as the sport heads towards a new era.

F1 is set to travel to 24 different venues once again during the campaign following its expansion to the historic figure in 2024.

The Albert Park Circuit, which hosts the Australian Grand Prix, will once again open the season on March 8.

The season will conclude on December 6th at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which has hosted the final round of every F1 campaign since 2014.

F1 will undergo a new set of technical regulations next year that threaten to cause a major shift in the pecking order.

These changes include significant modifications to the power unit as well as the chassis, while the grid is also expanding to 22 cars as Cadillac joins the field.

Some major differences to the F1 calendar include the exit of Imola, which has been replaced by a trip to Madrid at the end of the European leg of the season.

Elsewhere, Canada has shifted forward compared to 2025 and follows the race in Miami, leaving Monaco to commence the European rounds on June 7.

These changes have been carried out in a further effort to regionalise the calendar and help the travel strains on the paddock.

There will be two triple headers during the year running through rounds 19 to 21 and 22 to 24.

Zandvoort has already confirmed it will host a sprint event for its final F1 weekend before it drops off the calendar at the end of the campaign

The locations of the five other sprint races will be confirmed at a later date.

There has been one further change to the calendar, with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix being moved forward to Saturday, 26th September following a request from Azeri authorities, meaning the entire weekend shifts forward one day with qualifying now on Saturday 25th, September.

Some where in North East USA. Montreal is 500 miles from Baltimore, DC , philly area. Miami is over 1000 miles away. There are tens on millions of possible spectators there. The track would be tough as there are none but... The middle east has several races within 300 miles of each other and there is not nearly the population there.

Mugello. They raced their in 2020 I think and it was a challenging circuit, fast and lots of overtakes, and the drivers loved it and wished they could go back again more often.
