FIA boss continues push for V8 comeback in F1
Jul.8 Mohammed Ben Sulayem has ramped up his pitch to be re-elected as president of Formula 1's governing body. Over the British GP weekend, which was attended by the controversial FIA incumbent, a rival bid for the presidency was launched by sacked former F1 steward Tim Mayer. Mayer, the son of legendary former McLaren team boss Teddy Mayer, will go head-to-head with Ben Sulayem in the elections slated for mid December in Uzbekistan.
