F1 Academy secures contract extension with Montreal

The F1 Academy series will continue to race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve until 2028, inclusive, following a three-year extension to the existing agreement, which sees the all-female series race in Montreal for the first time this season. Last weekend at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve marked the halfway point in the F1 ACADEMY title race. As the second race at Miami was cancelled due to the weather conditions, the series elected to slot in an additional, third race alongside the two planned ones. In addition, Canadian Nicole Havrda, who hails from British Columbia, represented her home nation, racing at the Montreal circuit for the first time in her career this weekend.
