Leclerc ruled out of any running on Friday
Having suffered a severe crash at the beginning of the opening practice at the Canadian Grand Prix, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has been ruled out of any further running on Friday as his SF-25 has sustained a damage that the Scuderia was unable to repair for FP2. Leclerc managed just four timed laps in FP1 and he ended up 10th on the timesheets, seven-tenths off Max Verstappen's leading pace in the Red Bull. After just over ten minutes into the session, Leclerc suffered a heavy crash, but he managed to walk away from his shunt, where he locked up into Turn 3 then ran wide onto the grass, hitting both sides of his Ferrari and leaving it up against the Turn 4 barrier.
