Chinese GP: Hamilton pips Verstappen to Sprint Qualifying pole!

21/03/2025 at 08:2721/03/2025 at 08:56 Lewis Hamilton marked his Ferrari tenure with a sensational maiden pole during Sprint Qualifying at the Chinese Grand Prix, edging out Red Bull’s Max Verstappen by a mere 0.018s. The seven-time world champion set a blistering 1m 30.849s in SQ3, securing the top spot for Saturday’s Sprint race, while McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc followed closely in a nail-biting session.
