Verstappen worried about 'consequences' of FP2 issue

08/06/2024 at 00:2208/06/2024 at 00:37 Max Verstappen had the latest in a series of sub-optimal Friday practices, completing just 14 laps on track in total at Montreal's Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve due to a combination of weather and electrical issues. First practice got off to a delayed start because of a hailstorm shortly before the start of the session which forced an evacuation of parts of the circuit. There was further disruption due to Zhou Guanyu crashing in the Sauber. Verstappen ended the unrepresentative session in fifth place two seconds off Lando Norris, and was hoping to make up for lost time by making an early start in the second hour-long FP2 But...
