Image: Penske Entertainment/Travis Hinkle Four-time IndyCar race winner Pato O'Ward has become the latest to be added to McLaren's pool of reserve drivers for 2024. Mexican O'Ward has spent the past five seasons competing in IndyCar, the last four of which have been with McLaren, with a high of third in the series in 2021. O'Ward already has F1 experience after taking part in several MCL35M driver development tests, as well as driving in the 2021 Abu Dhabi young drivers test, and FP1 at last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
