Lewis Hamilton denies ‘money situation'

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has affirmed his unwavering faith in Mercedes and clarified that his ongoing contract discussions are not hindered by financial matters.  Although an extension to Hamilton's current deal, which expires at the end of the year, is widely expected, a new contract has yet to be finalised. Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff shed light on the situation during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend, emphasising that the delay in finalizing the contract was 'not a money situation.'  Hamilton confirmed Wolff's remarks when questioned about the matter, stating, 'Yes, that is correct.'
