Formula 1 sells Emilia Romagna GP trophies

Formula 1 has raised £217,000 for those impacted by the devastating flooding in the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, which resulted in the cancellation last month of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The entire weekend in Imola was cancelled following torrential rainfall which had caused disruption for several weeks, resulting in widespread flooding and landslides. The sport itself became impacted by the flooding as soon as they arrived at the circuit, with the Formula 2 and Formula 3 paddock having flooded in areas.
