French journalist makes ‘secret' Oscar Piastri claim
21-year-old Oscar Piastri has reportedly gotten his career as a McLaren Formula 1 driver underway, with French outlet Auto Hebdo reporting that the Aussie took part in a ‘secret' test at the home of the French Grand Prix. Piastri was an instrumental part in one of the storylines of the season, with the 2021 Formula 2 World Champion having refused to race for Alpine. The technically still current Alpine reserve driver was announced by the team that he'd be racing alongside Esteban Ocon in 2023, following Fernando Alonso's departure.
